Every year, Wikipedia runs a fundraising campaign to support its operations. In 2013, the Wikimedia Foundation raised $37 million from more than 2.5 million donors through the foundations’ s online fundraising campaign. The 2014 online giving campaign just wrapped up and there are plenty of lessons that other nonprofits can learn from Wikipedia.
